2025.02.06 A Delegation from the City of Fukuoka visited NYCU

　A delegation from the City of Fukuoka visited NYCU and held discussions with TJEO members to explore future strategies of the city in the semiconductor industry.

　During the exchange, Professor SAMUKAWA Seiji, Director of TJEO, provided an over view of Taiwan’s semiconductor sector and explained how universities play a central role in the ecosystem of the Hsinchu Science Park. With TSMC’s recent expansion into Kumamoto and growing efforts to revitalize the semiconductor industry in Kyushu, it is hope that this exchange will help shape a clearer direction for future collaboration between Fukuoka and Taiwan.

2025年2月6日 福岡市の皆さんが陽明交通大学を訪問しました

　今後の半導体関連産業についての施策展開を目的に福岡市の皆さんが陽明交通大学を訪問し、台日交流室と意見交換を行いました。

　意見交換に当たり、寒川主任からは、台湾における半導体企業の現状や、大学を核とした新竹サイエンスパークのエコシステムなどについて説明を行いました。TSMCの熊本への進出以降、九州における半導体産業の再興に向けた動きが進んでいることから、今回の意見交換を通じ、福岡においても台湾との連携における方向性が固まることが期待されます。
