2025.9.19 A University-Centered Semiconductor Ecosystem — Lecture at the Oita Prefecture LSI Cluster Formation Promotion Council

    Professor SAMUKAWA  Seiji, TJEO Director, was invited to give a lecture at the Oita Prefecture LSI Cluster Formation Promotion Council. This council aims to strengthen collaboration among industry, government, and academia to advance the development of cutting-edge manufacturing technologies in Oita Prefecture and the Kyushu region. Discussions focused on the current situation and future development of the semiconductor industry in Kyushu, as well as an analysis of the challenges and countermeasures facing JASM. Professor SAMUKAWA gave a lecture entitled “A University-Centered Semiconductor Ecosystem”, in which he analyzed how Taiwan has established a global position in the semiconductor industry. He also introduced examples of industry–government–academia collaboration at NYCU and proposed that Taiwan and Japan should combine their strengths in academic research and industry to enhance the competitiveness of the semiconductor sector.

2025.9.19 大学を中心とした半導体エコシステム ― 大分県LSIクラスター形成推進会議講演

　　寒川誠二・台日交流推進室主任は9月19日「大分県LSIクラスター形成推進会議」に招かれ講演を行いました。「大分県LSIクラスター形成推進会議」は、産官学の協力を強化し、九州地域・大分県における先端製造技術の産業発展を推進することを目的としています。本会議では九州半導体産業の現状と発展を議論し、JASMが今後直面する課題と対応策を分析しました。寒川主任は「大学を中心とした半導体エコシステム」という題目で講演し、台湾がどのようにして半導体産業において世界的地位を確立したかを分析しました。あわせて本学の産官学協力の事例を紹介し、台湾と日本が学術研究の力と産業の強みを結集し、半導体産業の競争力を高めるべきだと提案しました。
