2025.11.06 Kuwana Mayor and Mie University President’s Assistant Visit NYCU to Discuss Semiconductor Talent Development Partnership

   On November 6th, the Mayor of Kuwana and the Assistant for President of Mie University visited NYCU. Kuwana City is adjacent to the semiconductor factories of UMC and Kioxia, and the city hopes to revitalize itself by cultivating semiconductor talent, primarily through the local university, Mie University. As part of this initiative, NYCU and Mie University signed an exchange agreement and discussed specific cooperative measures, including joint research and student exchange programs.

 

2025.11.06 桑名市長・三重大学学長補佐がNYCU来訪、半導体人材育成の連携を協議

　11月６日は桑名市長および三重大学の学長補佐が来訪されました。桑名市はUMCおよびキオクシアの半導体工場が隣接しており、地元の大学である三重大学を中心に半導体人材を育成して桑名市の活性化したいと考えています。このたび、NYCUと三重大学は交流協定を締結し、共同研究や交換留学など、具体的な連携の在り方について協議しました。
