  We were delighted to host the distinguished delegation from the Japan Association for Industrial Economics today. It was a privilege to share insights on Taiwan’s vibrant, prosperous society and our approach to nurturing high-caliber talent. Our subsequent debate with the economists shed light on the key structural differences in sustainability between Japan and Taiwan. The scholars fully agreed that the secret to Taiwan’s remarkable success lies in its collaborative ecosystem. Driven by this shared understanding, we discussed a transformative partnership to bring this ecosystem model to Japan. By positioning this university as the catalyst, we are ready to co-create a sustainable, hopeful, and resilient future for the next generation of Japan.

　本日、日本産業経済学会から代表団の皆様をお迎えできたことを大変嬉しく思います。台湾の活気に満ちた豊かな社会と、高度な人材育成に対する我々のアプローチについて知見を共有できたことは、非常に光栄なことでした。経済学者の皆様との議論を通じて、日本と台湾におけるサステナビリティ（持続可能性）の構造的な大きな違いが浮き彫りになりました。そして台湾の目覚ましい成功の秘訣がその「協調的エコシステム」にあるという点で皆様の意見は一致しました。この共通認識を原動力として、我々はこのエコシステムモデルを日本へ導入するための、変革をもたらすパートナーシップについて協議しました。本学を推進力と位置づけることで、我々は日本の次世代のために、持続可能かつ希望に満ちた、強靭な未来を共に創造していく所存です。
