2024.12.16 NYCU and Tohoku University Strengthen Partnership in Key Research Fields

　A delegation of 14 faculty members from NYCU, led by President LIN Chi-Hung, visited Tohoku University to participate in a joint research workshop co-hosted by the two universities. 

　The visit followed the November visit Tohoku University’s President TOMINAGA Teiji’s to NYCU, during which the two institutions renewed their MOU. NYCU and Tohoku University plan to advance collaborative research in the fields of medicine, dentistry, semiconductor, and disaster prevention.

　During the visit, the delegation toured Nano Terasu, the next-generation synchrotron radiation facility that began operations in April. The workshop featured presentations by faculty members from both universities, introducing their respective research fields, strengths and ongoing challenges. The event served as a platform for active discussion on future collaboration opportunities.

　It is expected that joint research between the two universities will continue to deepen in the coming years.

2024年12月16日　 東北大学を訪問しました

　陽明交通大学、東北大学の両大学による共同研究に関するワークショップの開催にあたり、林奇宏学長ら14名が東北大学を訪問しました。この訪問は、11月に東北大学の冨永悌二総長らが陽明交通大学を訪問し大学間協定書（MOU）の更新を行ったことを受けたもので、両大学では、医学、歯学、半導体、防災に関して共同研究を進めていくこととしています。

　訪問に当たっては、4月にキャンパス内で稼働を開始した次世代放射光施設ナノテラスの視察を行いました。また、ワークショップでは両大学の教授陣が各大学の研究領域、強み、課題などを発表し、今後の連携に向けて意見交換を行いました。

　今後両大学の共同研究がさらに進んでいくことが期待されます。
