2026.04.15 Director Samukawa Reappointed as Sendai City’s Semiconductor Industry Advisor

  We are delighted to announce that Director Samukawa of the Taiwan-Japan Exchange Office has been reappointed as a Semiconductor Industry Advisor for the City of Sendai, effective April 1st.
  Over the past year, our partnership with Sendai has flourished through meaningful exchanges with local high schools and in-depth discussions regarding the city’s “Science Park” vision. Building on this strong foundation, this year we are taking a bold step forward: we will focus on establishing concrete educational bridges between Taiwanese and Sendai’s youth, while crafting strategic blueprints for a Science Park that embodies Sendai’s identity as an International City for Disaster Resilience. We look forward to an even brighter chapter of collaboration ahead.

2026.04.15 寒川主任、仙台市の「半導体産業アドバイザー」に再任

この度、台日交流推進室の寒川主任が、4月1日付で仙台市の半導体産業アドバイザーに再任されたことを謹んでご報告申し上げます。この1年間、仙台市とのパートナーシップは、地元の高校との有意義な交流や、市の「サイエンスパーク」構想に関する深い議論を通じて、大きく発展してきました。この強固な基盤の上に、今年はさらに大胆な一歩を踏み出します。台湾と仙台の若者たちの間に具体的な教育の架け橋を築くことに注力するとともに、国際防災都市としての仙台のアイデンティティを体現するサイエンスパークの戦略的な青写真を作成していきます。今後、より輝かしい協力関係が築けることを楽しみにしております。
