2026.09.25 National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University and Mie University Sign MOU on Next-Generation Semiconductor Research
On September 25, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU) and Mie University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at Mie University regarding the establishment of a joint research lab in the field of wide and ultrawide-bandgap semiconductors. Representing NYCU, Professor Samukawa, Director of the Taiwan-Japan Exchange Office (TJEO), attended the signing ceremony to conclude the agreement. He also delivered a special lecture titled “Taiwan’s Semiconductor Ecosystem and Advanced Talent Cultivation. “Moving forward, the two universities will establish a new joint research group consisting of faculty members from the semiconductor field to promote the research and development of next-generation semiconductors, as well as facilitate graduate student exchanges and the cultivation of advanced talent.

2026.09.25 陽明交通大学と三重大学、次世代半導体研究でMOU締結
9月25日、国立陽明交通大学（NYCU）と三重大学は、三重大学において「ワイド・ウルトラワイドバンドギャップ半導体分野における共同研究ラボ設置」に関するMOU（覚書）を締結しました。本学を代表して、当臺日交流推進室主任の寒川教授が調印式に出席して署名を行ったほか、「台湾の半導体エコシステムと高度人材育成」と題した特別講演を行いました。今後は、両大学の半導体分野の教員らで構成される共同研究グループを新たに設置し、次世代半導体に関する研究開発、ならびに大学院生の交流や高度人材育成を推進してまいります。
