 On the morning of June 23, delegation from Sendai-based the 77 Bank visited our office. Our discussions centered on a critical challenge: how to design a robust ecosystem centered around Tohoku University to secure the future survival and development of Sendai and Miyagi Prefecture. We also tackled the pressing need for advanced talent cultivation to fuel this initiative. Japan’s national revitalization hinges entirely on the immediate, successful revitalization of its regions.

　6月23日午前、仙台を拠点とする七十七銀行の代表団が当オフィスを訪問されました。私たちの議論の中心となったのは、仙台および宮城県の将来的な存続と発展を確実なものにするために、東北大学を中心とした強固なエコシステムをどのように構築していくかという重要な課題です。また、この取り組みを推進していくための高度な人材育成という喫緊の必要性についても意見を交わしました。日本の国家としての再生は、地方の迅速な再生を成功させることができるかどうかに全面的にかかっています。
