2026.07.09 Rays of Hope: Sendai Seiryo High School’s Journey to Inspire Japan’s Future

  July 9th was a deeply rewarding day, filled with meaningful exchanges with our visitors from Japan. From 10am, we welcomed nine students and two teachers from Sendai Shiryo Secondary School to NYCU. It was a true pleasure to deliver an engaging, accessible lecture on “Taiwanese Social Structure and High-Level Talent Cultivation.”

  Afterward, the students presented their own self-driven research projects. I was incredibly impressed by their independent thinking, vibrant energy, and proactive spirit. Seeing their potential filled me with immense hope; I am certain these bright minds will grow to become the backbone of Japan’s future.

  Recently, a visit to NYCU has become an annual event at Sendai Municipal Seiryo High School, and I heard that this time they will be visiting NYCU-affiliated 竹北 High School in the afternoon to further their exchange. I feel that the bond with NYCU is deepening.

 

2026.07.09 希望の光：日本の未来を牽引する仙台青陵中等教育学校の歩み

     7月9日は、日本からの訪問者たちと有意義な交流ができ、非常に充実した一日となりました。午前10時より、仙台青陵中等教育学校の生徒9名と教員2名をNYCU（国立陽明交通大学）にお迎えしました。「台湾の社会と高度人材育成」というテーマで、興味深く分かりやすい講義をお届けできたことを、大変嬉しく思います。

    その後、生徒たちが自主的に取り組んだ研究プロジェクトの発表が行われました。彼らの主体的な思考、あふれる活力、そして積極的な姿勢には深く感銘を受けました。彼らの持つ可能性を目の当たりにして大きな希望を抱くとともに、この聡明な若者たちが、将来の日本を支える屋台骨として立派に成長していくことを確信しています。

     近年、仙台市立青陵中等教育学校にとってNYCU訪問は恒例行事となっており、今回は午後からNYCU附属竹北高校を訪問してさらに交流を深めると伺っています。NYCUとの絆がますます深まっていることを実感しています。
