2026.03.19 Paving the Future of Chips: Tohoku University & NYCU Launch Joint Campus and Host Premier IC Design Workshop
National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU) and Tohoku University have formalized a landmark “Joint Campus” initiative to deepen their strategic partnership. Evolving from their successful international joint laboratories, this new framework aims to strengthen education and research through global industry-academia-government collaboration and to build a robust innovation ecosystem. Under this initiative, a collaborative IC design workshop was recently held, serving as a high-level forum to strategize the future of the semiconductor ecosystem.

陽明交通大学（NYCU）と東北大学は連携強化の為ジョイントキャンパス構想を締結しました。これはジョイントラボラトリーを発展させたもので国際産官学連携による教育と研究の強化とエコシステムの構築を狙ったものであります。その構想の下、産官学連携によるIC設計ワークショップも開催され、今後の半導体エコシステムの構築に関して議論をしました。
