2026.04.09 Japanese industry titans convened in Hsinchu to explore and engage with its world-class semiconductor ecosystem

   On April 9th, we welcomed a prominent leader (Mr. Toshiyuki Shiga, former Chief Operating Officer of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., former Chairman of the Innovation Network Corporation of Japan, former Vice Representative Director of the Japan Association of Corporate Executives, and former Chairman of the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association) from the Japanese industry to Hsinchu for a site visit to NYCU and several semiconductor design firms. Observing Hsinchu’s integrated ecosystem firsthand provided a catalyst for highly strategic discussions on replicating such a model in Japan, making for an exceptionally productive day.

2026.04.09 日本の産業界を代表するリーダーたちが、世界屈指の新竹半導体エコシステムを視察・交流

　2026年4月9日、日本の産業界を牽引してきたリーダーである志賀俊之氏（元日産自動車COO、元産業革新機構会長、元経済同友会副代表幹事、元日本自動車工業会会長）を新竹にお迎えしました。今回の訪問は、世界最先端を走る新竹の半導体エコシステムを直接視察し、今後の台日協力の可能性を深めることを目的としています。志賀氏は、国立陽明交通大学（NYCU）のほか、半導体設計（ICデザイン）企業数社を精力的に回られました。

     産学官が密接に連携する新竹の統合型エコシステムがいかに機能しているかという実地見学を経て、この成功モデルをいかにして日本国内で再現・展開すべきかという極めて戦略的かつ具体的な議論が交わされました。今回の交流は、単なる視察の枠を超え、今後の日本の産業再興と台日の強固なパートナーシップに向けた、非常に実り多い一歩となりました。
